The Los Feliz Murder Mansion is back on the market for $2.75 million

If you have an extra $3 million and want to live in Los Angeles, the L.A. Times reports that the infamous Los Feliz Murder Mansion on 2475 Glendower Place is back on the market. The decaying house remains as it did on December 6, 1959 after a murder-suicide.

Many years later, O.J. Simpson and his ex-wife, Nicole Simpson, would become the most prominent homicide headline in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Prosecutor’s Office prosecuted O.J. Simpson for the murder of his ex and her friend. After a lengthy trial, a jury acquitted Simpson.

Los Angeles is the city of intrigue, mystery, and murder

Before Nicole Simpson, the Glendower Place mansion was the original murder house. In 1959, a cardiologist named Harold Perelson, attacked his wife Lillian and oldest daughter Judye with a hammer. He committed suicide after the vicious attack.

Although Lillian Perelson died, Judye Perelson survived and escaped to a neighbor’s home. Her two younger siblings also survived the rampage. Harold Perelson told them to go back to sleep after they were awakened.
