Baltimore water treatment plant infested with 100 million spiders


Wired.com published a story that qualifies for the scariest horror movie of all-time. Only this story would be considered a real Mother Nature production. In 2009, the Baltimore Wastewater Treatment Plant sought help in treating an enormous spider problem. It was reported that an enormous spider web covered nearly 4 acres of the Maryland facility; it also housed more than 100 million residential spiders.
