Star Wars nerds Rebecca D'Madeiros and Bill Duda recently got married in a ceremony in Portland, Oregon. The wedding party included 70 guests dressed in their Star Wars gear. Guests included Imperial Stormtroopers and Princess Leah. It wasn’t known if Darth Vader or Lando Calrissian were among the guests.
Furthermore, what’s a wedding without Yoda? Of course, the Jedi master married the couple. It wasn’t known if any Jedi mind tricks were used in the ceremony.
"It was a lot of fun – after all, it's not every day you get to be married by Yoda," Duda says.
The couple spent nearly a near planning for the summer sci-fi bash. There is no truth to the rumor that the honeymoon will be in either Cloud City or the Hoth System.
The next saga may include children; let’s just hope the wonderful union doesn’t produce anyone named Luke, Han, Chewie, or Mace.
