Hopefully, most of you have received your stimulus check. How did you spend your windfall? Did you stimulate the economy and give it to Walmart? Maybe you paid some bills? I am just curious. If I was a betting man, I would gamble that most of you put it back into your gas tank.
Let’s do some simple math; the average couple without children would have received $600. At $4 per gallon of regular unleaded, you could have splurged and treated yourself to 140 gallons of gas.
Did anyone get a chance to spend any of it on their significant other?
Did you get your special guy a football jersey of his favorite player?
How about a new pair of earrings or a new nightgown for your special lady?
I was able to get my wife some flowers and her favorite meal from a local Chinese restaurant. So being the patriot I am, I stimulated the economy while treating my wife to a good meal and some flowers. Hey, it’s not much, but I did my part. Did you?
