The end of May typically means the end of school for most kids. The excitement grows at the beginning of the month and then explodes like a volcano towards the end of the month. Watching all the excitement brings back memories. Remember your greatest childhood memories? If not, let me share some of the best things about being a child getting out of school for summer vacation:
• No schoolwork
• No job
• No more school lunches
• No pressure
• No bullies
• No more winter
• No more single file lines
I love seeing the excitement in the eyes of a child on their last day of school. Do you and your significant other need something to discuss over dinner? How about sharing stories from grade school? You probably have some good ones in the back of your mind. Who can forget the special friendships, the monkey bars or even passing notes during class? Great times.
