Marine Major will use “Hillary Clinton” defense to avoid getting kicked out of the Marines for sending classified information through his personal email

James Comey, Director of the FBI is under fire from Republican lawmakers for not pursuing criminal charges against Hillary Clinton for carelessly handling classified information. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairperson Jason Chaffetz didn’t hesitate to rebuff Comey’s decision. “The average Joe would have been led off in handcuffs had they done what Clinton did,” Chaffetz said. 

Marine Major Jason Brezlerr has found himself in a similar position as Clinton. He is involved in a legal battle with the Marine Corp to keep his job. The Marines want to discharge him for carelessly sending classified information. Michael Bowe, Brezler’s attorney has evidently followed the Clinton email scandal carefully. So the question remains—can any common citizen avoid charges if they claim ignorance? 

Wait for it. We are going to find out soon because Bowe is using the “Hillary Clinton Defense” for his client.
