Men, how many times have you ever been told by a woman that you are nothing but a sex driven neanderthal? Whenever we tell a woman we are sensitive and caring, she will either laugh or roll up her eyes.
Good news men, there is now evidence to support that sex is at the bottom of our priorities when it comes to life in general.
In a recent study, nearly 28,000 randomly selected men (ages 20-75), from several different countries (U.S. included), responded to a standardized telephone interview about their attitudes toward life and sex. The results were published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine.
The study shows that men chose being honorable and having the respect of their friends over success with women.
Regarding quality of life, one-third of respondents interviewed said good health was the highest priority, followed by a good family life (26 percent) and then being involved in a successful relationship with a partner or a wife (19 percent).
Ladies, only 2 percent selected sexual satisfaction as the highest priority.
"Taken together, this body of research underscores the centrality to men of nonsexual aspects of the male identity (and) emphasizes the importance of the couple relationship,'' said German researcher, Michael Sand.
Well there you go ladies, this study proves that some of us find other things in our lives more important than sex. We actually prefer good health and a successful relationship.
