Remembering 9/11/2001

Today is the seventh anniversary of one of the most horrific days in our history. It's one of two American tragedies I cannot forget. I watched the challenger explode on television during my senior year of high school.

I also witnessed the fall of the mighty towers while at work. I can remember it like it was yesterday.

Similar to the Challenger incident, many of us didn't know what we were watching. Both incidents looked like something created on a Hollywood movie set.

As long as I live, I will never forget the pictures of those who jumped to their deaths to avoid burning to death.

I just wanted to take a moment of my day to remember this tragedy.

I will never understand how anyone could take the lives of innocent people. Among the dead were mothers, children, parents, husbands, brothers and sisters.

No one deserves to die in a terrorist act.

God bless the family members of the survivors and all of my fellow Americans.

May we all find peace within our hearts.
