Marriages in space? It's coming

Forget about getting hitched in Hawaii or some far away island. Weddings outside of the planet are in the works.
The Japanese firm First Advantage and the U.S.-based private spaceflight firm Rocketplane Global, Inc., announced last week they will host weddings in space for about $2.3 million (240 million yen) each. That's pretty pricey for a few "I do's." If you happen to have a few extra million dollars or yen in your bank account, this is a great way to start a marriage.
Of course, if the marriage doesn't last, it will be the most expense marriage ever. So far, you will have to be some kind of celebrity, athlete or Bill Gates to afford this kind of wedding. I wonder if the high price tag has to do with gas being over $4 per gallon? The alcohol and food is probably what costs so much. I would love to renew my vows with my wife, for now, outer space will definitely be out. Maybe we can go to Hawaii?
