Memorial Day with Indiana Jones...

I spent Memorial Day watching “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” My wife passed on it. She said she read a review in one of her lady mags, calling the movie a bore. The review said it was a movie to let your guy see without you. Her magazine was correct, she wouldn’t have enjoyed the movie. I know I didn’t.

Although it wasn't as good as any of previous movies, I did enjoy the rekindled love story between Indy and Marian Ravenwood. If anyone saw the original Raiders movie, Indiana Jones and Marian Ravenwood went their separate ways. Marian moved on without Jones and give birth to a son. I won’t reveal the identity of the father. You will have to see the movie for yourself.

Overall, I was disappointed.

It wasn't a terrible movie, just "tired." The story was predictable and was all over the place. The story throws so much information at you in such a short period of time, it's hard to catch your breath.

Being a die-hard Indiana Jones fan, I had to see it on the big screen. As of today, it has earned over $120 million dollars. Without giving away any of the important details, I will let this small part out of the bag; Marian gets her man in the end.
